  So it is the last day of the year and I think it is that time to write my choices for the game of the year.  In the spirit of this i will say that I have not played a lot of games this year but I am basing this off of game reviews and games I have played. So here we go. 5.  Battlefield 1.  I know that our sports writer is going to hate where this one is located but I have to put it here.  I like the game it is fun and I like to play it. But I don't like the way the leveling I'd setup.  That being  said it is a beautiful game and plays very smooth now. 4.  Pokemon Sun and Moon.  This game re caught my love for Pokemon this year.  It played through in a way that no other Pokemon i have played does.  Its story keeps you locked all the way to the end and the post game still has a lot to offer after that story is over. 3.  Pokemon Go.  I know what you all think. "What the hell is he thinking this game is garbage." ...

Finally, the day everybody has been waiting for. It's time for the four best college football teams to meet on the gridiron in this years playoff. We have Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Washington in this years final four. Today we're just going to take a quick preview at the semifinal match-ups and potential scenarios. But before we start, hats off to the Big Ten teams this year. I feel like there were three different teams you could of took out of that conference and put in this years playoff. Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl #1 Alabama vs. #4 Washington Line: Alabama -13 Congrats to Washington making the big show this year, but the party could end very quickly for the Huskies as they have to travel to the opposite side of the country to take on top ranked Alabama and coaching guru Nick Saban. Washington QB Jake Browning is going to have his work cut out for him against the #1 defense in the nation. This will be a huge test for Alabama's freshman QB Jalen Hurts, but time...

  In just a few days we should be getting the update to the Pokemon bank that will allow Pokemon to be transferred to Sun and Moon.  With this update you will be transfer Pokemon from the virtual console Pokemon games in to your new games as well.   I just finished Pokemon Moons main story line.  It is the first Pokemon game that I have ever completed I think. I enjoyed the story. It keep me interested and I got attached to the characters as the game continued.  It took 41 hours for me to complete and that was with a long session of shiny hunting.  I finished the game with 124 Pokedex.     I am looking forward to the post game and online battle system. This is the first Pokemon game I have played with online mode. It should be interesting.

Russia is back at again, they seem to always be making headlines these days. Today news broke that Russian officials admit that they were involved in a huge doping operation during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. It's been suspected for some time that these athletes have been using performance enhancing drugs in past Olympic Games to get a upper hand on the competition and we finally have the evidence to back it. Can't say I'm suprised by any of this and neither should anybody else unless you've been living under a rock. Russia knows they cheated, the world knows they cheated. I would feel a lot better knowing I won a medal because of all the hard work I put in naturally, not by using PEDs or steroids. In this years 2016 Summer Olympics the entire Russian team was almost disqualified for the same thing and a lot of Russian athletes were not allowed to compete in Rio. I have no idea what this means for the country getting to compete in future games the next compet...

First off, I hope everybody had a awesome Christmas/Hanukkah and enjoyed their holiday football with friends and family! Week 16 is in the books football fans and we've only got one more week left in the regular season and the AFC has been decided and if your team didn't get in there's always next year. But we've still got a tight race going on in the NFC. In the NFC Cowboys, Falcons, Seahawks, and Giants have clinched a spot in this years playoffs. To decide the rest of the NFC it's going to come down between the Packers, Lions, Redskins, and Buccaneers. Like I said in last weeks blog the Packers are hot right now I expect them to clinch a playoff spot with ease. Detroit is behind the the Packers by one game in the NFC North and are in a must win scenerio. As for the the Redskins and and Buccaneers they should keep their fingers crossed and hope the Packers and Lions trip up in the final week. Alright now to the AFC. I would like to wish a Happy Holidays to everyone out there today.  I hope you are all enjoying the time with your family and friends and making wonderful memories. It is that time of the year for gamers that signals in the mass rush of new players to games that we have all been playing all year.  I say to you all, open your hearts and minds and remember that not that long ago you were the noob using bastion on offense.  Be nice to the new players, show them the ropes.  This will only last a little while and they will all go back to Call of Duty l. So on top of the baby Pokemon being released Pokemon/Niantic has decided to do a holiday event of sorts. Dec 25th through Jan 3rd   Single use incubators at Pokestops Dec 30th through Jan 8th   The starters and their evolutions will be more frequent in the world.  This is a very small and I believe useless attempt to keep players interested and it will at no point bring players back to the game. At this point if your not playing Pokemon Go there is not much that is gonna bring you back in my opinion.

Finally we have something to look forward to in the spring besides baseball season kicking off and College Basketball's March Madness. The NFL announced today there will be a spring football league for NFL free agents coming in April 2017. This is exactly what we red blooded Americans need is more football! Not to add, this is great news for the older players and for players that were never given the chance to shine. This could maybe even be turned into open tryouts where any average Joe can tryout and see what he can do against the pros. It's also good news for NFL teams and scouts, rather than just signing somebody for their name they get to see what some of these seasoned vets still have in the tank. Now this spring league is not apart of the NFL in any way. It's for free agents only, players on a current NFL roster will be ineligible to participate. The spring league will last from April 5th to April 26th and will have just 4 teams with 6 games on the schedule. Th...

  If you can't tell from the photo at the top of the page my favorite skin may be something to do with Winston.  His Winter skin is the best skin from the event.  It is the most thought out and unique in my opinion.   Some of the other skins in this pack are good too but some of them are kind of not well thought out. I have seen a lot of stuff on Twitter about the Mei skin and how people hate it.  I will admit that it is kinda a rip off of the Torbjorn skin.  They for the most part made a male and female Santa.  Also the Sombra, Tracer and Lucio skin are for the most part the same skin.  I understand that maybe there is not a lot that you can do with this season without being offensive but come on I have seen some fan art of skins that would have been great.   In other random Overwatch news.  Tracer is gay.  That is all. Another week is in the books for the NFL. Today we're going to take a look at the standings in both divisions after Week 15. As we get closer an closer to the playoffs with only 2 more weeks remaining in this years regular season it's time for the big boys to earn their paycheck. First off we're going to start with a brief rundown of the NFC division. In the NFC I can see the Cowboys, Seahawks, Falcons and Giants as locks for this years playoff. Keep a close eye on the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers. The Giants have a very hot hand right now and was the only team able to take down the Cowboys this year, also Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are getting back to their winning ways.   What a better way to learn something about a character you have never played with then to be forced to use him/her?    That to me is the number one benefit to the mystery brawl setup.  It makes you commit to a character that you otherwise would never use.  It also shows some amazing character combinations that you would never think about otherwise.    I also think that this is one of the best ways for a new player trying to find a main or what they are good at to get a feel for it.  You can get that character that you realize is the one for you and eliminate the ones that you know are not for you.  You will learn your strengths and weaknesses in a way that doesn't really hurt your team.    I want to make that last statement clear. If you are trying to find a main or you want to learn a character or try one for the first time please get out of competitve.  

Ok guys today we're going to cover a debateable topic on college football players deciding to forgo meaningless games at the end of the season by getting physically and mentally ready for the NFL. Today news broke Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey is going to miss this years Sun Bowl to get ready for the NFL. Christian isn't the first high profile player to do this. LSU's running back Leonard Fournette also chose to sit out of this years bowl game to get ready for the NFL as well. I have to say I'm not suprised at all by any of this. I respect Christian coming out and saying he was going to skip this years bowl game to get ready for the NFL rather than making up a excuse or to hide behind a made up injury. If you had to pick someone to be Doomfist who would it be? If your first choice was Terry Crews then you would have been right on the money. Or maybe not who really knows.  He did go visit Blizzard and tell them that he wanted to be in the game and on a verified reddit account he said he wanted to be Doomfist.  Just think about it Cheeseburger Eddie as Doomfist. I think he would make a great voice actor for the character. He would fit the games kinda serious mostly goofy feel.  I'm going to guess that Doomfist is going to be a tank of some sort. I don't really know what we are missing at the tank roll.  I'm sure they will find someway to make him work in.   I just want to write a short post to say thank you to everyone for all of the views and support you are showing the blog.  We did not expect this much traffic at all and it has blown us away.     I hope that everyone is enjoying the content that we are sharing.  We are trying to stay on top of the daily news but it is hard at the moment because we both work full time.  At some point in the future we want to start writing about other topics other than gaming and sports but for now that is what we are going to stick with.   In the near future we are going to start a podcast.  It will be mostly sports and gaming information and news for the week.  There will be many other things discussed in the podcast but those will remain the main focus.  I dont have a exact date for the podcast.  I do know that it will be a weekly podcast.  We have a lot of research to do before this step gets underway.  We will continue to write th...
