    Early Access started on Battlefront 2 and the outrage began immediately.  Everyone is saying that main characters of the franchise are locked behind either a pay wall or random luck of the draw with loot crates, that seem to take forever to obtain.  It is sad to see such a promising game get stuck with a pay to win setup.   Pay to win will be the death of the Triple A title and the larger developers if they don't see this.   It is insane to expect people who have already paid $60 for the game you made, to pay another amount of money to unlock content in the game. This model makes people feel like unappreciated and makes the consumer angry which is not a profitable business model.  I am perfectly fine with games that put cosmetics into loot boxes that I have the option to pay for.  This model does not effect the main game play and does not give anyone person a advantage just because they spend more money. Blizzard   So Blizzcon had been going on this weekend and a lot of things have happened but I'm not a huge Blizzard fan. But love some Overwatch and when I saw the news of a new Character I had to share the news. Moira is a new support character with a blend of Zenyatta and Mercy. She is a Talon agent as well which makes it even better.  There was a lot more information released such as new map and legendary skins for multiple characters. (images from Blizzard)

      Well it’s the season of events and every game has one. Wether your grinding for skins on Overwatch or buying coins on Fortnite.  I love Halloween events personally just because of the content. One event this year has stood out to me among the rest. Rocket League. This years Rocket League event has had me hooked ever since I loaded the game up and started playing it.  The content in the event is nice and I want to obtain it all. But that is not what I am chasing afte the most.   I am chasing this in game currency Candy Corns.  It is the smartest idea Rocket League has come up with yet. And I think they have been doing a lot of things right lately.  But this, this changes everything.  I have a desire to grind away at this game to get these little things. They give you the opportunity to purchase content instead of hoping for a lucky drop or purchasing a key to open a crate.  I personally don’t like the concept of the cra...

  If you can't tell from the photo at the top of the page my favorite skin may be something to do with Winston.  His Winter skin is the best skin from the event.  It is the most thought out and unique in my opinion.   Some of the other skins in this pack are good too but some of them are kind of not well thought out. I have seen a lot of stuff on Twitter about the Mei skin and how people hate it.  I will admit that it is kinda a rip off of the Torbjorn skin.  They for the most part made a male and female Santa.  Also the Sombra, Tracer and Lucio skin are for the most part the same skin.  I understand that maybe there is not a lot that you can do with this season without being offensive but come on I have seen some fan art of skins that would have been great.   In other random Overwatch news.  Tracer is gay.  That is all.   What a better way to learn something about a character you have never played with then to be forced to use him/her?    That to me is the number one benefit to the mystery brawl setup.  It makes you commit to a character that you otherwise would never use.  It also shows some amazing character combinations that you would never think about otherwise.    I also think that this is one of the best ways for a new player trying to find a main or what they are good at to get a feel for it.  You can get that character that you realize is the one for you and eliminate the ones that you know are not for you.  You will learn your strengths and weaknesses in a way that doesn't really hurt your team.    I want to make that last statement clear. If you are trying to find a main or you want to learn a character or try one for the first time please get out of competitve.
